iTunes Christmas Closure & its impact on Analytics customers
Just a quick reminder that Apple will be closing the iTunes Connect service on Friday 21 December and re-opening on Saturday 29 December. What this means is that during this time, you won’t be able to login to iTunes Connect to make changes to your apps, or to download your app reports.
Naturally, this will have an impact for App Annie Analytics customers, who have a linked an iTunes Connect account. The iTunes Connect closure means that we won’t be able to collect your reports during this time, which means we won’t be showing new data in your dashboard or daily email reports.
Don’t worry though because when iTunes Connect re-opens on Saturday 29 December, we will collect all the data back to the start of the closure and you will have a complete history in your App Annie account.
During the iTunes Connect closure we will continue to collect app rankings and ratings, and will be updating our Store Stats top charts as normal. It’s also worth pointing out that this doesn’t affect customers who have linked a Google Play account.
